Temperature Controllers
Delta DTC DIN-rail modular controllers and DTI4848 panel PID instruments — supplied loose, or wired into tested heating-zone panels for extruders and process machinery.
Process Control
Steady Zones, Steady Product
On an extruder, an oven, or a sealing bar, product quality is temperature stability. We supply Delta's two workhorse families: the DTC series — DIN-rail modules in master/extension configurations with RS-485 Modbus, ideal for multi-zone control from inside a panel — and the DTI4848, the classic 48×48 mm panel PID instrument with local display for one-zone-per-instrument machines.
And because heating zones never live alone, we wire them into complete panels with SSRs or contactors, alarms, and interlocks to the drive — the same shop that supplies your extruder gearbox and screw drive VFD.

Controller Families at a Glance
| Family | Format | Outputs | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delta DTC1000 / DTC2000 (+1001 / 2001) | DIN-rail modules, master + extension units | R relay · V SSR-pulse · C 4–20 mA · L linear | Multi-zone control inside panels, monitored over RS-485 Modbus |
| Delta DTI4848 (VO / RO) | 48×48 mm panel-mount, front display | Voltage-pulse or relay output models | Local operator setpoint, one instrument per zone |
Both families take thermocouple and RTD inputs and offer PID or on/off control. Sensor types, alarm configurations, and exact I/O per model are confirmed on the Delta datasheet at the budgetary-offer stage.

Every Controller Model We Commonly Arrange
The final letter of a DTC model is its output type: C = 4–20 mA current, L = linear analog, R = relay, V = voltage pulse for SSR drive.

The Anand Gears Advantage
Heating Zones as Part of the Whole Machine
Extruder Barrel Packages
Zone controllers, SSRs, thermocouple terminations, and over-temperature interlocks to the screw drive — built to match your extruder gearbox line.
PLC & HMI Integration
DTC modules report over Modbus to the PLC and display on the HMI — setpoints, actuals, and alarms on one screen.
Tested Before Dispatch
Every heating-zone panel is function-tested with simulated sensor inputs, and ships with as-built drawings and a test certificate.
Industry Solutions
Where These Controllers Go to Work
Plastics & Rubber Extrusion
Barrel and die zone control — the classic multi-zone DTC application, alongside our extruder gearboxes.
Packaging Heat Sealing
Sealing-bar and hot-wire temperature on form-fill-seal machines — stable seals at line speed with packaging drives.
Food Process Heating
Fryers, ovens, and kettles in food plants — PID hold with alarm interlocks.
Moulding & Dies
Die and platen heating on presses and moulding machines, with SSR-pulse outputs for fast cycling.
Drying & Curing
Multi-zone dryers and curing tunnels — DTC master/extension chains keep zone counts economical.
Instrument Replacements
Swapping failed panel instruments like-for-like — 48×48 DTI models drop into the standard cutout.
Common Questions
Temperature Controller FAQ
Which temperature controller families does Anand Gears supply?
The Delta DTC series — DIN-rail modular controllers in master and extension configurations with RS-485 Modbus communication — and the Delta DTI4848, a 48×48 mm panel-mount PID controller with front display. Both families offer PID and on/off control with thermocouple and RTD inputs.
What do the output-code letters (C, L, R, V) mean?
The letter at the end of a DTC model number is the control output type: C is 4–20 mA current output, L is linear analog voltage, R is a relay output, and V is a voltage pulse for driving a solid-state relay (SSR). Pick R for contactor-switched heaters, V for SSR-switched heaters that cycle fast, and C or L to command a power controller.
When should I use the DIN-rail DTC instead of the panel-mount DTI4848?
Use DTC modules when the loops live inside a control panel and are monitored over Modbus from a PLC or HMI — a master unit plus extension units scales to many zones compactly. Use the DTI4848 when the operator needs a local display and setpoint buttons at the machine, one instrument per zone.
Can you wire the controllers into a complete heating-zone panel?
Yes. A typical extruder barrel package is DTC modules or DTI instruments per zone, SSRs or contactors, thermocouple terminations, and alarm interlocks to the drive — wired and function-tested in our Thane panel shop, and integrated with the PLC and HMI when the machine has them.
Is Anand Gears an authorised distributor of Delta?
No. Anand Gears is an independent supplier and panel-builder, not an OEM or authorised distributor of any of the brands listed. Brand and model names are the property of their respective owners. Final model availability, lead-time and price are confirmed at the time of the budgetary offer, and specifications should be cross-checked against the manufacturer's official datasheet before ordering.
